Good afternoon!
March, as the saying goes, roars in like a lion and out like a lamb – but after a fiercely cold February for many of our churches (even normally sunny parishes in Florida have seen unseasonably cold temperatures), the new month so far is bringing gentle whispers of springtime throughout the country. Who knows if we’ll see some final bursts of winter weather, but what is certain is that Faith Direct is here for you and your ministries – rain or shine (or snow!).
This month we’re sharing detailed information about Faith Direct’s Free Text-to-Give platform and our new pop-up content guide, “Beacon,” plus our upcoming Easter Email Campaign – as well as disbursement information for this month and a schedule of upcoming webinars.

Free Text-to-Give Text-to-Give is an increasingly popular way for parishioners to make one-time donations to parishes and other charitable organizations. Last year, Text-to-Give donations increased by 550% over 2019.
With the Faith Direct’s Free Text-to-Give platform, parishioners can text a dollar amount to your parish's assigned number and make a quick gift to your essential collections; or they can text the word "ENROLL" to receive a direct link to the enrollment page where they can create an eGiving account and set up recurring gifts--all from their mobile phones!
If St. John Demo Church has not yet added Text-to-Give/Text-to-Enroll, contact your Success Manager or reply to this email to get it today.
If you have Text-to-Give you can add it to different appeals throughout the year. To do so, go to appeals, click on the appeal ID number and then towards the bottom change ‘Display Appeal on Give Now’ to ‘yes’ and then change ‘Allow Text-to-Give’ to ‘yes’. This allows parishioners to make one-time gifts using the text to give number. It’s a great way to collect donations from parishioners who haven’t already enrolled in Faith Direct, it shows them how easy it can be! It has been especially successful (and recommended) offering the text-to-give option to your Easter appeal! |
Easter Email Campaign
In February, a record number of parishes participated in the Lenten Email Campaign, the free email branded for your parish to encourage members to enroll in online giving.
With Easter quickly approaching we’re putting the finishing touches on a new email campaign that we encourage you to consider utilizing. Like the Lenten Email Campaign, we will provide email copy, bulletin and social media announcements as well as graphics in both Spanish and English.
Be on the lookout for an email from us with all these resources so you can encourage parishioners to help the church by embracing eGiving for their generous offertory and parish collections. |
*New Feature* - Church Admin Knowledge Base We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be adding a pop-up content guide called “Beacon” to our administrative site in the coming weeks. The Beacon will help you locate articles to find the answers your inquiries about reports, resources and more.

| March 2021 Disbursements Faith Direct will process March donations on Thursday, March 4th, and Monday, March 15th. Parish disbursements will be Wednesday, March 10th, and Friday, March 19th. If your parish is currently offering one debit date and would like to add a second, you can contact your Success Manager directly at alyssa@faithdirect.net or send an email to clientcare@faithdirect.net. |
