Good afternoon!
Luke 24:6 joyfully proclaims the message of Easter: “He is not here; he is risen!” It’s a message of hope and renewal that can guide us throughout the entire year – one that’s especially timely now! Throughout the country many churches have opened their doors at greater capacity, while beloved and dearly missed parish ministries are being reintroduced. We can look forward with hope and joy, even knowing that the pandemic is not over. Whatever tomorrow brings, we can always rejoice in those glorious words that define Easter: “He is risen!”
This month we’re sharing detailed information on finding donor intentions for online giving and updating the fund numbers for your appeals – as well as disbursement information for this month, a schedule of upcoming webinars, and an update on Faith Direct’s Easter office hours.

Did You Know That You Can Update the Fund Numbers for Your Appeals?
Faith Direct offers a contribution report for importing donations into your church management database. As you add or update fund IDs or fund numbers in your database, that information will also need to updated in Faith Direct to keep the contribution report current. Fortunately, this is a very simple process.
In the admin system, go to the ‘Appeal’s tab and you’ll be able to see what the current fund number for each appeal is under the Church Fund # column.
To change the fund number, click on the Appeal ID:
Once there, you can put in the new number in the Fund Number field (under the appeal name).
After entering the new fund number, click the green ‘Save’ button at the bottom to update the appeal. If you need to, you can run a new contribution export and it will include the updated numbers.
If you need to update several fund numbers at a time, your Client Success Manager can also help you. Please feel free to reach out to them for any questions about the data needed. |

April 2021 Disbursements
Faith Direct will process April donations on Monday, April 5th, and Thursday, April 15th. Parish disbursements will be Friday, April 9th, and Wednesday, April 21st.
