This month we’re sharing updates and upgrades to our system, including information about helping your parishioners update their giving amounts and access their tax statements. Plus, there’s information about end-of-year and January disbursement schedules, and this month’s holiday schedules.

Thank you for using Faith Direct for your online giving needs!
As Faith Direct is working toward new payment processing features this year for 2022, we will be auditing our customer account information to ensure that we are meeting current regulations around “Know-Your-Customer” (i.e., “KYC”) compliance.

New Year Donor Changes!
With the start of the new year many parishioners want to change (hopefully increase!) their recurring gift amounts and they aren’t always sure how to go about it. They can always contact our Customer Service team at info@faithdirect.net or 866-507-8757 for these changes or--if you have Master or Donor access to Church Admin--you can update their gift amounts for them. It’s a very easy process to do, click here for more information. |
Downloading Individual Parishioner Tax Statements
Although Faith Direct mails tax statements at the start of the year, they often end up being misplaced once it’s time to submit taxes. When that happens, parishioners can request a new copy directly from Faith Direct, but if they come to you first, certain Church Admin users are now able to download copies of individual parishioners’ tax statements. January 2022 Disbursements
Faith Direct will process January donations on Tuesday, January 4th and Tuesday, January 18th. Parish disbursements will be Monday, January 10th, and Monday, January 24th.
We are processing donations on the 18th because the 15th falls on a Saturday and the 17th is a federal holiday.
Any live 2021 gifts that were processed before midnight on December 31st were included in a separate end-of-year disbursement on January 4th. Because these end-of-year 2021 gifts were in a separate disbursement, your disbursement report on January 10th will only contain gifts processed on January 4, 2022.

End-of-Year Disbursement
It’s everyone’s favorite New Year’s tradition: End-of-Year Disbursement! As in years past, if St. John Demo Church had live gifts processed in December after your last regular disbursement, those gifts will be in a special, separate end-of-year deposit and report. We do this so that gifts processed in the 2021 tax year are kept separate from gifts processed in the 2022 tax year.
If you have an EOY disbursement, you should have received an email notification on January 4th when the report and contribution export file were made available. If you did not receive an email or you do not see an EOY report among your current disbursement reports in the Church Admin site, don't fret! It means that your parishioners planned their end-of-year giving ahead of time and were not processing anything at the last minute.

| Church Admin Training Webinars
Our regular training series on the Church Admin site continues this month. The agenda covers the basics:
- Managing user permissions and accounts, including inviting staff to set up new user accounts
- Locating parishioners’ giving accounts to update scheduled gifts and payment methods
- Updating appeals and collections on the church giving pages
- An overview of available reports
