Good morning,
We flip our calendar pages to November today and (somehow) the end of the year is in sight. As we head into the busy holiday stretch and all of the planning that it entails, take a moment to sit with the November newsletter and see what Faith Direct has been working on. There is a new feature in our events platform, a teaser of an upcoming email campaign, and some end-of-year and holiday housekeeping items to review.
Faith Direct will be closed on Friday, November 11th for Veterans Day and Thursday, November 24th for Thanksgiving.

NEW! Event Feature: Donor Sign-In
If a registrant for an event already has a Faith Direct egiving account, they can now sign into their account to use an existing payment method to pay the registration fee and associate the registration with that account.
After a parishioner signs into their account, the form will prepopulate with their name and show their available payment method(s). They will have still the ability to add a new payment method if they do not want to use what's already on file. Please click here to see a short demo.

Event Forms Video Tutorial Series: Part Six
This mini tutorial will explore the Email tab in Forms Properties. This is where you would set the registrant email confirmation details, add as many staff as needed to receive confirmation email copies, and more. Click here to watch the 5-minute video that details this important feature.

Need to update collections for 2023?
You can create, end, and update the month of your collection appeals by clicking on the Appeal tab in the Faith Direct Church administrative site. Click here to learn more. (Please note you can only change appeals if you have Appeal Management or Master Access roles).
Please keep in mind, if you change the appeal to an upcoming month after it has already been withdrawn, donors scheduled to give to that appeal will have their gifts withdrawn again. For example, if Christmas Flowers has already processed in November and you change the month to December, those donors will be debited in both months. In that scenario, you should update the appeal before the November debit to have it process this December, or wait until January to make the change so it will process in December next year. |

This Thanksgiving we are expecting an unprecedented number of people throughout our community to turn to St. John Demo Church for warm meals, comfort, and shelter. No one in need should be turned away, which is why we are reaching out to our parishioners.
Your generous online donations now will help sustain Thanksgiving ministries that reflect God’s love. As you can imagine, our ministries are feeling the effects of rising costs and empty shelves. We must prepare as early as possible this year to do our best to help those in need.
We prayerfully request that you consider signing up for eGiving from your computer, smartphone or tablet. You can set up a recurring donation or make a one-time gift.

Disbursement
Faith Direct will process November donations on Friday, November 4th and Tuesday, November 15th. Parish disbursements will be Thursday, November 10th, and Monday, November 21st.If your parish is currently offering one debit date and would like to add a second, you can contact your Success Manager directly or send an email to clientcare@faithdirect.net. |
