Greetings!
July is a busy very month for parish life. From Independence Day events and festivals to beloved summer traditions like Vacation Bible School, day camps, parish picnics and more, these events allow churches to spread God’s love in our communities and share fun and fellowship.
In between planning for all this, we hope you'll take a moment to update Faith Direct with any pastoral or administrative staff changes at your parish and check out another of our event tutorial article (after all, Religious Education is right around the corner). You'll find that article below, as well as the usual promotional text and disbursement information for this month.

Independence Day Office Closure
The Faith Direct offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th for Independence Day.
Changes to Pastor and Parish Staff

Have there been any pastoral or administrative staff changes at St. John Demo Church? Anyone that needs to be removed from our address book? If so, please contact your Client Relations Manager at so we can update our records.
Event Forms Tutorial Series: How to Link Campaigns or Special Collections
When creating an event you may want to bring attention or lead people to give to a new campaign or special collection. There is a way to do that! In order to add the information, the appeal would need to be created first (find the help article on how to do that here). Once the appeal is created and you’re working on the event, insert static content and then add the link for the appeal in the static content.
The link can also be added to the email confirmations for the event in case they missed it.

It is a lifeline that sustains us year-round when summer vacations, holiday travels, inclement weather, and other forces keep people away from services. Plus it eases the workload on our hardworking staff (who also want to take vacations!), since they have fewer cash and check donations to process. Getting started with eGiving is easy. Here are the ways to sign up:

Mobile App Announcement
Due to significant lack of interest and use, Faith Direct has made the decision to discontinue the mobile application. If there is any concern about a drop in giving with the end of the mobile app, now would be a great time to do an outreach! Please reach out to your Client Relations Manager for any concerns or questions.
July 2023 Disbursements
Faith Direct will process July donations on Wednesday, July 5th, and Monday, July 17th. Parish disbursements will be Tuesday, July 11th, and Friday, July 21st.
*Please Note: There is a four-business day period after donations are processed to reconcile transactions with bank and credit card companies before we disburse monies to your church account.
