Greetings! 

It's hard to believe August is already here, summer is winding down, and children are getting ready for back-to-school activities.  Faith Direct is here to help your parish prepare for the back-to-school season as well.  Read below for more information on how Faith Direct can assist your parish and various ministries.  

This month you will find helpful information regarding August disbursement dates, bulletin & social media announcements, our regular Event Forms tutorial series, as well as our Seasons of Giving Fall Email Campaign.

August 2024 Disbursements


Faith Direct will process August donations on: 

Monday 8/5 

Thursday 8/15 

Faith Direct will disburse monies to the Parish on:  

Friday 8/9 

Wednesday 8/21                                                                                             

*Please Note: There is a four-business day period after donations are processed to reconcile transactions with bank and credit card companies before we disburse monies to your church account.   

If your parish is currently offering one debit date and would like to add a second, you can contact your Client Relations Manager directly or send an email to clientcare@faithdirect.net.   


Upcoming Password Requirements 


In order to remain PCI compliant and up to date with login security measures, Faith Direct is in the process of updating our login procedures.  Soon, all users (donors and admin staff) will be required to set new passwords to adhere to more secure complexity, i.e. a minimum length of 12 characters containing a combination of numeric and alphabetic characters. Admin staff, in particular, will also need to change their password every 90 days.

Event 101 – Setting Registration Limits 


There are various places in an event form where you can set a total quantity if your event, class or slot has a maximum capacity, or a particular item is limited.  Please see your options below: 

  • Form Properties – Submissions tab – Maximum Number of Submissions field OR Maximum Number of Registrants field.  * Note the first puts a cap at number of forms submitted while the second puts a cap at number of registrants submitted.  The second field is based on a Person Field Set as shown below with “Count towards total registrations” check and particularly relevant when you allow two or more registrants within one form submission i.e. “Can be duplicated” is checked. 
  • Configure gear of the person field set – General tab – Total Quantity of Entries field (see image above).  
  • Configure gear of checkbox, dropdown or radio button – Options tab – Total Quantity field.  This works best with particular items or class times that are limited.

Faith Direct will offer a free email and promotional kit to help you increase online giving enrollment for parishioners and families returning from summer vacation. 


Look for further communications from us in the next few weeks so you can schedule your email to promote donor enrollment.

To enhance your learning experience, we have incorporated screen shots and visual aids throughout our tutorials.  These images provide visual cues to accompany the written instructions, ensuring you can follow along effortlessly and confidently.
