November 2024 Newsletter (Non Parish Specific)

Greetings!

We flip our calendar pages to November today and (somehow) the end of the year is in sight. As we head into the busy holiday stretch and all the planning that it entails, we want to take a moment and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on God’s abundant blessings and His love for each of us. As the holidays near, Faith Direct is here to help you strengthen your parish ministries.

As always, let your Client Relations Manager know if you need help with anything or have any other questions or concerns.

Faith Direct will be closed on Monday, November 11^th for Veterans Day and Thursday, November 28^th for Thanksgiving.

November Disbursements

Faith Direct will process donations on:

Monday - 11/4

Friday - 11/15

Faith Direct will disburse monies to the Parish on:

Friday - 11/8

Thursday - 11/21

*Please Note: There is a four-business day period after donations are processed to reconcile transactions with bank and credit card companies before we disburse monies to your church account.

If your parish is currently offering one debit date and would like to add a second, you can contact your Client Relations Manager directly or send an email to clientcare@faithdirect.net.

New Password Requirements

As a reminder, Faith Direct updated login procedures during the week of August 26, 2024. This update was implemented in order to maintain PCI compliance and remain up to date with login security measures. The updated login procedures apply for both donor access to their giving account and church staff to the Faith Direct Admin Site as communicated during the month of August. All users will be prompted and required to set new passwords with more rigorous complexity consisting of a minimum length of 12 characters containing a combination of numeric and alphabetic characters. Church staff admins ONLY will need to update their password every 90 days.

There will be no actions needed by you or your donors other than updating your password when the system prompts you to do so.

Faith Direct works tirelessly to maintain the highest level of data security for our customers.

This Thanksgiving we are expecting an unprecedented number of people throughout our community to turn to us for warm meals, comfort, and shelter. No one in need should be turned away, which is why we are reaching out to our parishioners.

Your generous online donations now will help sustain Thanksgiving ministries that reflect God’s love. As you can imagine, our ministries are feeling the effects of rising costs and empty shelves. We must prepare as early as possible this year to do our best to help those in need.

We prayerfully request that you consider signing up for eGiving from your computer, smartphone or tablet. You can set up a recurring donation or make a one-time gift.

Este Día de Acción de Gracias esperamos que un número sin precedentes de personas en toda nuestra comunidad recurran a nosotros en busca de comidas calientes, consuelo y refugio. Nadie necesitado debe ser rechazado, es por eso que nos acercamos a nuestros feligreses.

Did you know there is a HELP section in your admin platform that is a Go-To Resource for common questions? The help sections is designed specifically to provide you with easy-to-follow, step-by-step instruction for all your reporting and platform needs. In the help section, (found in the upper left, on Blue bar) you will find comprehensive guides and tutorials to assist you in mastering every aspect of our platform. Whether you are looking to generate detailed reports, manage user permissions, or explore advanced features, our curated resources will walk you through each process with clarity and ease.

To enhance your learning experience, we have incorporated screen shots and visual aids throughout our tutorials. These images provide visual cues to accompany the written instructions, ensuring you can follow along effortlessly and confidently.
