August 2025 Newsletter (Non Parish Specific)

Greetings!


We know August is a busy time for you. You're trying to get everything squared away for fall stewardship campaigns, getting ready for the start of the school year, and taking care of everything else that comes with the end of summer. In that spirit, this month's newsletter is short and sweet but full of good information!

Faith Direct will process donations on:

 

Monday – 8/4

Friday – 8/15

 

Faith Direct will disburse monies to the Parish on:

 

Friday– 8/8

Thursday – 8/21

                                                                                       

*Please Note: There is a four-business day period after donations are processed to reconcile transactions with bank and credit card companies before we disburse monies to your church account.

 

If your parish is currently offering one debit date and would like to add a second, you can contact your Client Relations Manager directly or send an email to clientcare@faithdirect.net.             

 

Important Update: Faith Direct Upgrade to ParishSoft Giving

 

As you know, Faith Direct will soon be transitioning to ParishSOFT Giving, with the change taking place sometime between mid-August and October. To help make this transition as smooth as possible, we’ve included some helpful information below for both your office staff and your donors. 

  • What is Faith Direct going to communicate to Donors about this upgrade?
    • Starting with the August Payment Reminder emails, Faith Direct will be including a message to all donors who have signed up for the reminder emails.  Please CLICK HERE to see that message. 
  • Do we need to do anything to communicate this change to donors?
    • Yes!  If donors have not elected to receive the payment reminder emails, then they may not be aware of the change.  We are asking for your help to also spread the word so that not only are your Faith Direct donors aware, but all donors within the parish will be aware of the upgrade to take advantage of it.  Please CLICK HERE to view the suggested messages that can be utilized through a parish wide email as well as spoken in Mass.  As promised, we also have suggested bulletin text, please CLICK HERE to view that text (or see below in the Bulletin Announcement section).  You are welcome to adjust these messages to fit your needs.
  • Can we see the platform before we upgrade?

  • Is there more information available?

Just a reminder, your current Client Relationship Manager and Donor Support isn’t going anywhere—you will continue to receive the same trusted support you rely on.

 

Bulletin Announcement

We’re excited to share that Faith Direct will soon be upgrading to ParishSOFT Giving—our new, secure giving platform.  This upgrade will happen automatically and securely. No action is required from you—your gift schedules and payment details will carry over seamlessly.

 

What’s new about ParishSOFT Giving? 

  • Weekly Giving: If you selected weekly giving, your gifts will now be deducted each week instead of in one monthly batch. 
  • More Flexibility: Adjust your giving schedule to any date that works for you—not just the 4th or 15th. 
  • More Ways to Give: Now you can donate using PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

You can still sign up today by visiting faith.direct/FD2 or call their Customer Service team at 866-507-8757.

Nos complace anunciar que Faith Direct pronto se actualizará a ParishSOFT Giving, nuestra nueva plataforma segura para donaciones. Esta actualización se realizará de forma automática y segura. ¿Qué novedades hay en ParishSOFT Giving?

 

• Donaciones semanales: Si seleccionó la opción de donaciones semanales, sus donaciones ahora se deducirán cada semana en lugar de una tanda mensual. 

• Mayor flexibilidad: Ajuste su calendario de donaciones a la fecha que mejor le convenga, no solo al 4 o al 15.

Changes to Pastors and Parish Staff 

 

Help us keep our records up to date!

 

Have there been any pastoral or administrative staff changes at your parish that deal specifically with Faith Direct? If so, please contact your Client Relations Manager.

 

Please note, any changes you make in the Faith Direct Church Admin system are for the display of your online giving page and do not automatically notify Faith Direct staff.
