Faith Direct PRE Upgrade Client Checklist
Congratulations, you have your upgrade date! What does that mean and what do you need to do to prepare for it? Please utilize the checklist below to help you and your donors through the upgrade process.

Prepare Donor Communications:
- Visit the INFORMATION CENTER, click on Communications and download the document titled: Donor Communication Cadence: Faith Direct to ParishSOFT Giving Upgrade
- This has what you will need to share with your donors
Review Your Active Events and Templates:
- In Faith Direct, any ACTIVE events and custom templates will be brought over to the new platform.
- If you want to make sure that something is brought, please make the event PUBLISHED in Faith Direct before your upgrade date. Unpublished, expired and archived events will not come over and we will not be able to bring them over later.
Understand Deposits, Fees and Reporting:

Contribution Exports
- Have ParishSoft Family Suite? We do have the integration of Giving to Family Suite where gifts will flow in to Family Suite automatically. It will not be automatically set up for you, there will be steps needed to be taken post upgrade. CLICK HERE to see what those steps are to set it up. CLICK HERE to watch the video!
- Don’t have Family Suite? Not a problem, there are other data exports available just like Faith Direct including the option to create your own custom export.
