Ephesians 2:10 tells us, “For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them.” As Labor Day nears, Faith Direct is thankful to be part of the good works of so many parishes, and we are honored to partner with the outstanding men and women in parish offices whose “behind the scenes” work keeps ministries moving and makes a difference for people everywhere.
This month we share a new multi-channel campaign (email, social media, and bulletin notices) focused on eGiving as a “good habit” to embrace, much like many of us have incorporated useful technology into our lives throughout the pandemic. You’ll also find additional marketing materials for this month, plus disbursement information and a schedule of upcoming webinars.

How to Manually Create Parishioner Accounts Did you know you have the capability to create donor accounts! If you have donor management access in the Faith Direct Church Admin site, you can sign someone up to give to your parish or a particular appeal or campaign. Find more information on how to create the accounts below.  |
How to Create an Appeal
Do you have a campaign for your parish coming up?
If you have appeal management access in the Faith Direct Church Admin site, you can create appeals for a new collection or campaign. In order to create an appeal you’ll need:
- Name of Appeal
- Frequency of giving
- Fund number (if your system uses them)
- Is donation tax-deductible?
- Any notes you may want to add for parishioners
- Do you want to display Appeal on the give now, one-time gift page, and allow for text to give (if your parish offers it)
Once you have that information you can click on the appeals tab and then click on New Appeal. Once it’s created you can edit anything you need. After a parishioner has donated towards the appeal you will not be able to edit the frequency. For more information reach out to your Client Success Manager or learn more below.

September 2021 Disbursements
Faith Direct will process September donations on Tuesday, September 7th and Wednesday, September 15th. Parish disbursements will be available after 3PM EDT on Monday, September 13th, and Tuesday, September 21st.
If your parish is currently offering one debit date and would like to add a second, you can contact your Success Manager directly at alyssa@faithdirect.net or send an email to clientcare@faithdirect.net. |
